Churchill announces his appointment to the board of directors


TORONTO, June 06, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Churchill Resources Inc. (“Churchill“or the”Company”) (TSXV: CRI) is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Jessie Liu-Ernsting as an independent member of its Board of Directors.

Ms. Liu-Ernsting has over 15 years of experience in the mining industry, spanning capital project engineering, debt capital markets, private equity and corporate strategy. She is currently Director of Investor Relations for G Mining Ventures Corp. Previously, Ms. Liu-Ernsting held progressive business development positions at Canada Nickel Company Inc. and Hudbay Minerals Inc. Ms. Liu-Ernsting previously spent over five years with Resource Capital Funds, sourcing, valuation, execution and management investments, gaining expertise in a wide range of mining commodities and services. Prior to her tenure at RCF, she provided debt financing solutions within CIBC’s Mining Business Lending Group. Prior to CIBC, Ms. Liu-Ernsting’s experience at Hatch and Golder covered all levels of the design of mining and mineral processing operations around the world and the development of R&D projects in mining innovation. Ms. Liu-Ernsting is a professional engineer with a degree in electrical engineering from Queen’s University and an MBA from the Schulich School of Business Mining, Finance and Strategy. She currently sits on the boards of Aston Bay Holdings Ltd. (TSXV: BAY) and the PDAC (The Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada). Jessie is the recipient of the 2021 CIM Bedford Canadian Mining Young Leader Award.

The Company also announces that its Board of Directors has approved the granting of a total of 2,500,000 stock options to certain directors, officers and consultants of the Company. The options were issued at an exercise price of $0.30 and have a term of five years.
